Please read this information carefully as it contains important details about your rights and obligations as well as limitations and exclusions that may apply to you.

Bare Strands Extensions will make every effort to ensure your order matches your specifications and special requests. Since our hair is 100% virgin, we can not guarantee color,(except on colored collections) texture, or curl patterns, as these may vary. Hair color typically ranges from a dark 1b to 2 and occasionally contains some lighter pieces.

 

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY:

Please note that all hair sales are final and there are no refunds. We accept exchanges only for products of the same or greater value within 7 calendar days of receiving your order. All sale, discounted, and custom items are FINAL SALE and can not be returned or exchanged.

If it is determined that Bare Strands is at fault, we will replace and exchange your product(s) at no additional cost to you.

All exchanges must be in original packaging and resell-able condition with the original sales receipt. In compliance with federal law and hygiene concerns, exchanges can not be accepted for any products that have been washed, brushed, combed out, cut, colored, processed, installed, or tampered with in any way. The customer is responsible for all exchange shipping fees.

To initiate the exchange process, send your exchanged item(s), including your complete name, phone number, address, exchange request, and original receipt to:

ORDER PROCESSING:

Our business hours are Monday through Friday from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm CST. All orders are processed during regular business hours unless otherwise indicated. Orders received on weekends and holidays will be processed on the following business day.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Terms of payment are required 100% upfront. We accept most major credit cards. As soon as you place your order, your credit card will be charged. Please be sure to review your order total, items purchased, shipping details, and special requests carefully prior to submission.

Your billing and shipping address must match in order to complete your transaction.

Credit card fraud and theft of our merchandise will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

 

SHIPPING POLICY:

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE

We ship Monday - Friday, excluding weekends and holidays, unless otherwise stated

For your convenience we recommend that you place your order for hair products in advance of any deadlines you may have for hair appointments, special engagements, or events, to account for unexpected delays in shipping. Once your payment has cleared, you will receive an email that your order has been processed. An additional email with tracking number will be sent once your order has been shipped. (This may take up to 72 hours)

We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to increment weather, natural disasters, holidays, or shipping carrier delays. We entrust our shipping carriers to deliver your package on-time, should your package be delayed and you need additional information, please contact us at shipping@barestrands.com. 

ERRORS AND DELIVERY OF ITEMS:

Please note, we verify all shipping addresses through the US Postal Service. (does not apply to international addresses)

Incorrect and/or incomplete address information is one of the major causes of shipping delays. Please be sure to confirm your complete address information (including apt# and suite) via USPS.com if you are not sure.

If we are unable to process your order due to incorrect address information, we will contact you immediately, however your order may be delayed by an additional 3-5 business days. 

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the shipping address is entered correctly. Please double-check the address you are entering, as we will NOT be held responsible for packages that are sent to the wrong address that the customer has entered. If your order has already shipped, we cannot change the address and can only wait to see if the package gets returned back to us in the original condition. In that case, we will be able to provide you with an exchange.

The customer is responsible for any additional carrier shipping charges for address corrections or returned items. No refunds will be issued for shipments that are refused or abandoned.

DELIVERY:

In the event our shipping carrier and the customer's tracking number confirms a delivery was made to the customer's shipping address, we do not offer refunds or replacements if the item is claimed to not have been delivered. If your item has not been received and the tracking information indicates delivered, please contact the designated shipping provider for assistance.

We offer delivery with signature confirmation for an additional charge, which can be purchased at checkout.

If you have tracked your package and find any delivery discrepancies or that it is lost in transit, email us immediately at shipping@barestrands.com. We will contact the shipping provider immediately to initiate an investigation. If it is determined that your package has been lost, a replacement will be sent.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

In support of a secure online shopping experience, all  international customers are required to submit a signed credit card authorization form with supporting documentation prior to order processing and shipment. A customer service agent will contact you once your order has been received.

International customers (outside of USA) are responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes charged by your country. We recommend contacting your country's custom office for information on respective taxes, rates, and special paperwork requirements. We provide invoices with all shipments. This is the only documentation that will be sent with your shipment. 

We are not responsible for any delays caused by the destination country's customs clearance processes. 

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

BARE STRANDS EXTENSIONS, does not accept liability beyond the remedies set forth herein, including any liability for products not being available for, or the provision of services and support. BARE STRANDS EXTENSIONS will not be liable for consequential, special, indirect or punitive damages even if advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party except as expressly provided herein. This limitation of liability applies both to products and services. Customer agrees that for any liability related to the purchase of products, BARE STRANDS EXTENSIONS is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by customer for the purchase of products under this agreement.
